Role & responsibilities
Review and analyse commercial and contractual aspects of tender documents.Listing salient features, rights, obligations and liabilities under the awarded contracts and making a detailed presentation to the execution team.Identification of contractual risks and proposing risk mitigation plans.Attend Progress review meeting, and ensure the projects are executed as per the design intent and the employer’s requirements.Identification of variation / deviation from the original scope and raising the change order notification promptly to the client.Prepare the variation claim / any other claim in discussion with the project manager, and follow up for client approval.Ensure early warning notification of any major changes, deviation from the original scope, to be highlighted well in advance.Co-ordinate with the billing team to raise an invoice in line with the progress on site and ensure payments are certified within the prescribed timelineIdentifying and raising claims due to work methods vary from the Contract Boq and specificationResponsible for identification of extra item from the BOQ specification in consultation with project team and preparing claims for the sameEnsuring the Contractor and Sub-Contractor are performing the duties as per the contract and instructing corrective action if any noncompliance.All contractual letters from the client should be replied promptly for avoiding disputes during closure of the contractPrepare and issue Contractual correspondence and maintain the complete file of contractual lettersMaintain contractual records and documentation in chronological orderResponsible for the EOT application in alignment with the Contract and ensuring the EOT is granted as per the requirements and entitled.Coordination with project teams, legal, finance, insurance taxation for validation and inputs on relevant contractual aspects to ensure contracts are accepted as per risk management guidelines and that there are no profit leakages and commercial costs are optimised.Responsible for resolving conflicts, providing legal advice and renewing and redrafting contractsAssessment of damages for non-performance of the Sub-contractorDeveloping effective working relationships with clients and supporting the project team on contract administration throughout the project lifecycle (on change orders, scope and time extensions, FIM delays, additional scope, and other contractual matters)Interested candidates can share their resumes at :
