Senior Salesforce Developer

Summary

Magna is seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with deep expertise in integrations and hands-on Salesforce development. This role is ideal for professionals who not only excel in coding and technical builds but also specialize in designing and delivering complex, API-driven, cross-platform integrations .

You will architect and implement scalable Salesforce solutions that connect with external systems (POS, PMS, ERP, CRMs, data warehouses) via middleware solutions, with strong MuleSoft experience required as our primary integration platform. You'll ensure data integrity, automation efficiency, and seamless user experiences while leading development projects, mentoring team members, and ensuring technical delivery excellence across QA, UAT, and deployment phases.

Responsibilities :

Integration & Solutioning

Design and implement advanced cross-platform integrations using REST / SOAP APIs, various middlewares (MuleSoft, ADF, AWS, etc.), and direct Salesforce connectors.

Architect API frameworks, data synchronization pipelines, and system-to-system automations that ensure scalability and performance.

Translate client business requirements into detailed, integration-first technical designs across Salesforce platforms.

Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, data flow challenges, and performance bottlenecks, ensuring long-term stability.

Stay current with emerging integration tools, APIs, and Salesforce releases, bringing new solutions to project delivery.

Hands-On Development

Own complex development tasks including API integrations, custom scripting, advanced automation, and personalization.

Write and review high-quality code using Apex, LWC, AMPscript, SSJS, SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Implement and oversee both code-based and declarative solutions, including test / QA and deployment documentation.

Lead development sprints or workstreams, ensuring deliverables and timelines are met.

Contribute to technical documentation and internal knowledge-sharing.

Leadership & Collaboration

Provide technical leadership to developers, advising on integration approaches, coding standards, and best practices.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to align integration design with business objectives.

Mentor junior developers in integration patterns, API usage, and scalable build practices.

Support pre-sales scoping by recommending integration strategies, validating feasibility, and estimating effort.

DevOps & Best Practices

Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines for integration-heavy projects using tools like Gearset, Copado, or Salesforce CLI.

Ensure deployments follow secure, efficient, and scalable practices tailored for high-volume integrations.

Enforce standard coding practices, version control and appropriate component and process-level documentation

Qualifications

6+ years of Salesforce technical development and solutioning experience, with significant focus on system integrations.

Expert proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, SSJS, AMPscript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Proven expertise with external systems integrations (POS, PMS, ERP, non-Salesforce CRMs, data warehouses, marketing platforms).

Advanced experience with API frameworks, middleware, CI / CD tools, and web services.

Salesforce certifications across multiple clouds required; MuleSoft Developer 1 and Platform Developer II required, Salesforce Integration Architect and MuleSoft Integration Architect highly preferred.

Experience managing delivery through QA, UAT, and Go Live phases.

Strong communication skills to translate technical integration requirements into business terms.

Track record of mentoring developers and leading integration-heavy projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Architect / Consultant / Developer-level Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, Data Architect, Integration Architect).

Hands-on experience implementing data migration and synchronization strategies at scale.

Familiarity with event-driven architecture (platform events, streaming APIs).
