The position is accountable :
- To drive packaging portfolio management and process excellence program leading projects on packaging changes in line with deployment of global projects.
- To Driving process improvement & profitability, value engineering initiatives in line global / local projects.
- To drive supplier performance management on packaging, print quality for PVM brand portfolio.
- Drive portfolio changeover & value engineering projects on packaging design & development from idea conceptualization to product launch.
- Drive implementation of packaging improvement projects on cost optimization, quality excellence and productivity improvement on PM.
- Establish success criteria and material performance standards for accomplishment of projects with cross functional operational teams.
- Conducting Risk assessment and hazard analysis for new packaging development / new vendors in line with operations infrastructure & packaging regulations and standards.
- Project management and co-ordination with Marketing, Purchase, Supply Chain, R&D and cross functional team for end to end portfolio changeover and value engineering Projects.
- Identifying new supplier and areas of packaging concepts specially focussing on new technology solutions and profitability alternatives.
- Management among cross functions / stakeholders locally and globally for updating and co-ordinating of project activities.
- Establishing specifications, standardization of quality parameters and quality checking of Packaging Materials, standard test procedure.
- Establish periodical review of material performance standards & methods for identification of process defects / deviations and consumer complaints.
- Driving supplier performance review meetings on portfolio changeovers, driving print quality performance with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identifying and developing vendors for cost effective procurement of materials and to ensure vendor performance in-line with as per process guidelines.
- Vendor audit and evaluation. Introduction of alternative vendors.
- Participate in different inbound and outbound training program, seminars, business conference and tradeshow related to business requirement and personal development.
- Preparing monthly summary reports for all cross locations for packaging value engineering & reporting to management.
- Monthly reporting for Value engineering projects, portfolio changeovers and supplier performance.
