Role Description for Content Manager
Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth research within the devotional, mythology, and spiritual space to create rich, meaningful content
Lead and manage a team of in-house and freelance content writers, editors, and content contributors
Develop and execute monthly and seasonal
editorial calendars
aligned with marketing campaigns
Plan and oversee the creation of content formats like eBooks, infographics, quizzes, and marketing copy in both
English and Hindi
Set and maintain
quality benchmarks
for all published content; implement effective
editing processes
Review and approve articles for cohesiveness, originality, and alignment with brand voice
Ensure all content is
SEO-friendly
and optimized for engagement across digital platforms
Collaborate with design, product, and marketing teams to align content strategy with business goals
Use
content analytics
and user insights to refine content performance and improve outcomes
Manage timelines, resource planning, and content pipelines for timely publishing
Mentor junior writers, provide structured feedback, and build scalable team processes
Requirements
8+ years of professional experience in content writing / editing, preferably in digital publishing or devotional / spiritual domains
Strong leadership and
team management skills
– ability to guide, mentor, and grow a content team
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in
both English and Hindi
Deep interest in Indian culture, mythology, and spirituality
Experience in setting up scalable content operations and workflows
Strong understanding of
SEO, content analytics , and content performance tools
Highly process-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment
