Role Overview
The role offers a 1-year internship / industrial training program designed for CA students and newly qualified CAs seeking exposure to finance, compliance, and operations at a SEBI-regulated investment management firm.
Trainees will work directly with the CFO, Compliance Head, and Investment Team — gaining a 360° understanding of how institutional asset management firms operate on the buy-side .
Key Responsibilities
Exposure to Buy-Side Processes
Understand how fund managers, research analysts, and compliance officers collaborate in portfolio construction and governance.
Learn the institutional workflows of an investment firm — front office (research / dealing), middle office (compliance), and back office (finance / operations).
Operations & MIS
Coordinate with custodians, brokers, and fund administrators for trade settlements and reconciliations.
Assist in NAV validation, cash flow monitoring, and investor data management.
Prepare reports for management and regulatory submissions.
Eligibility
Option 1 : CA students who have completed 2 years of Articleship and are eligible for industrial training.
Option 2 : Qualified Chartered Accountants (0–1 year experience) seeking exposure to buy-side finance and compliance before final placement.
Strong academic record, integrity, and interest in investment management / financial markets.
Skills & Attributes
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint , and accounting systems.
Understanding of financial reporting, audit processes, and SEBI regulatory landscape.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work cross-functionally.
