Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Certification in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management preferred (RICS, NIQS, etc.).
  • 15+ years of experience as a QS, with at least 7+years in a cost audit or commercial control role.
  • Strong knowledge of project cost control, contract management, and billing validation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP tools (SAP, Oracle), and QS software (CostX, Candy, etc.).
  • Understanding of internal audit processes and financial compliance in projects.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Quantity Surveying Functions :

  • Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and budget forecasting for data center and infrastructure projects.
  • Monitor project budgets, validate contractor bills, and ensure accurate quantity take-offs.
  • Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to improve project financial outcomes.
  • Verify work progress against claims and recommend payments or withholdings.
  • Track variations, change orders, and update cost implications.

    • Audit & Compliance Functions :

  • Perform internal audit reviews related to project costs, vendor payments, and contract adherence.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, procurement policies, and approved budgets.
  • Identify anomalies in billing, overclaims, or scope creep; report findings with evidence.
  • Participate in pre-audit and post-audit evaluations with commercial and finance teams.
