Job Vacancy – Assistant Manager (Environnent)

Key Responsibilities

Conduct research and contribute to preparation of :

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Reports

Environmental Audit Reportss

Environmental Management Plans (EMP / ESMP)

Air Quality Management Plans

Water Quality Management Plans

Carry out environmental monitoring and data analysis.

Assist in preparation of ESIA documentation for international donor-funded projects.

Manage and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of experts .

Attend meetings, stakeholder consultations, and deliver technical presentations .

Ensure compliance with national and international environmental standards.

Contribute to knowledge sharing, report writing, and capacity building initiatives.

Candidate Profile & Skills

Education :

UG Qualification : B.Tech / B.E. (Chemical / Civil / Environmental), B.Sc (Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, or related).

PG Qualification (Mandatory) : M.Tech (Environmental), MS / M.Sc (Environmental Science / Botany / Civil & Environmental Engineering).

Experience : Prior experience in consultancy firms with exposure to donor-funded projects (World Bank, ADB, MCC, etc.) preferred.

Technical Skills :

Strong knowledge of EIA, EMP, ESIA, Environmental Monitoring & Audit .

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint for professional documentation.

Familiarity with specialized tools such as ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine, Remote Sensing & GIS-based applications (added advantage).

Soft Skills :

Excellent spoken and written English .

Strong analytical and presentation skills.

Ability to coordinate with teams and manage deadlines.

Other Requirements :

Flexible to travel internationally (including African, Asian, and South American countries) for site visits and project-related work.

Valid passport is mandatory .

Ability to adapt and work independently in a remote setup.
