About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our dynamic Chemistry Department as a Lecturer in Chemistry, with research interests that align with our thematic priority in Organic Chemistry. This position is offered on the Education and Research pathway, with a primary focus on research excellence.
Research Focus
The Successful Candidate Will Contribute To The Department's Internationally Recognised Research In Chemistry, Particularly In Areas With Strong Industrial Relevance And Societal Impact. We Welcome Applicants With Expertise In One Or More Of The Following Key Areas
Teaching and Supervision
In addition to research, the successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and supervision at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They will contribute to curriculum development, student engagement, and the department's commitment to inclusive and innovative education.

Welsh Language Skills
The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning / afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
