About the Role :

We are seeking an exceptional Product Engineering Head with 18+yrs of experience to lead our engineering organization and drive the technical vision for our SaaS platform. This role requires a

seasoned engineering leader with deep technical expertise, proven experience in solution

architecture, and a track record of successfully delivering complex software products to

production at scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership :

  • Define and execute the technical roadmap for our SaaS platform
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, and business

teams

  • Drive architectural decisions and technology choices that align with business

    • objectives

  • Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development

    • methodologies

  • Build and scale high-performing engineering teams

    • Technical Excellence :

  • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable

    • software solutions

  • Ensure robust system architecture that can handle growing user demands
  • Lead technical reviews and guide complex engineering challenges
  • Drive adoption of modern development practices, including CI / CD, automated

    • testing, and DevOps

    Product Development :

  • Manage multiple production rollouts and ensure the successful delivery of features
  • Collaborate with product management to translate business requirements into

    • technical solutions

  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from conception to deployment
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables that meet performance, security, and scalability

    Team Management :

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide career development guidance
  • Promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence across the team

    • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Solution Architecture Experience :

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role
  • Proven ability to design end-to-end solutions for complex business problems
  • Experience with system integration, data modeling, and enterprise architecture

  • Strong understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and security

    • considerations

  • Deep expertise in Java programming with 8+ years of hands-on development

  • Strong proficiency in Python with demonstrated experience in building production

    • systems

  • Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software

    • architecture principles

  • Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems

    • Certification Requirement :

  • AWS Solution Architect certification is MANDATORY (should be within a year)

    • Leadership &Management :

  • 5+ years of engineering management experience
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams
  • Experience managing teams of 15+ engineers across multiple projects
  • Strong project management and delivery execution skills

    Programming Languages :

  • Java (Expert level - 8+ years)
  • Python (Advanced level - 5+ years)
  • Additional languages (JavaScript, Go, Scala) -

    • Preferred Frameworks & Technologies :

  • Spring Boot, Spring Framework
  • Django, Flask, FastAPI
  • React, Angular (for full-stack understanding)
  • AWS SQS, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ
  • Redis, Elasticsearch

    • Databases :

  • Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
  • NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra)

    • DevOps & Tools :

  • CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Version control (Git, GitLab, GitHub)
  • Monitoring (CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic)
  • Testing frameworks (JUnit, pytest, Selenium)

    • Cloud Technologies (Mandatory) :

  • Strong fluency with AWS Managed Services, including but not limited to :
  • EC2, ECS, EKS for compute and container orchestration
  • RDS, MongoDB for data storage and caching
  • Lambda for serverless computing
  • API Gateway, CloudFront, and Load Balancers
  • S3 for object storage
  • CloudWatch, CloudTrail for monitoring and logging
  • IAM for security and access management
  • VPC, Security Groups for network configuration

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical

    • field

  • Experience in SaaS / PaaS product development
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
  • Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment
  • Additional cloud certifications (AWS DevOps, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP
  • Professional Cloud Architect)
