The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other imaging modalities to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. This role requires clinical precision, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to work closely with physicians and technicians. Key Responsibilities : Clinical Care :
- Review and interpret diagnostic imaging results (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, etc.)
- Generate accurate, clear, and timely radiology reports for referring physicians
- Collaborate with clinicians to provide diagnostic support and recommend further investigations when necessary
- Supervise and guide radiologic technologists and ensure image quality and protocol compliance
- Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure patient safety and radiation protection standards are maintained
- Maintain records and adhere to institutional policies, medical ethics, and regulatory standards (e.G., AERB, NABH, PCPNDT)
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to clinical case discussions
- Stay updated with the latest developments in radiological technologies and best practices Qualification
- MBBS with MD / DNB / DMRD in Radiology from a recognized institution
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a clinical radiology setting (post PG) preferred
- Proficient in reporting across all imaging modalities
- Good communication and collaborative skills
