Job Description :

Lead the migration of Node.js microservices and infrastructure from Tanzu / PCF / TKGI to Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) .

Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure GKE clusters with best practices in pod security, networking, and resource optimization.

Refactor Node.js applications for cloud-native performance and reliability.

Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision GCP resources.

Build and optimize CI / CD pipelines (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI) for containerized Node.js applications.

Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using GCP Operations Suite (Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Trace).

Create technical documentation , migration playbooks, and provide knowledge transfer to junior team members.

Mandatory Skills :

Strong expertise in Node.js , microservices architecture, and Docker containerization

Hands-on experience with GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) and Kubernetes operations

Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Proficiency in GCP services – GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud IAM, Cloud SQL / Firestore, Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Cloud Monitoring / Logging

Solid understanding of CI / CD pipelines (Cloud Build / Jenkins / GitLab CI)

Familiarity with Git , branching strategies, and shell scripting (Bash)

Knowledge of REST APIs and cloud networking concepts
