Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Advocate at D. Majumdar & Associates in Kolkata. The Associate Advocate will be responsible for providing legal support, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and assisting with case preparation. They will also be involved in client communication, attending court hearings, and collaborating with the legal team across various courts.

Qualifications & Skills (STRICTLY NON NEGOTIABLE)

• Bachelor degree in Law
• Prior experience of 0-3 years (freshers without Bar Registartion need not apply)
• Demonstratable experience / keen interest in tax laws
• Understanding of commercial laws
• Understanding of legal procedures and regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Skill to conduct Legal Research and Document Drafting
• Self-motivated and ability to take initiative
