Senior System Programmer

PKWARE is looking for an experienced z / OS Systems Programmer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level system software in IBM mainframe environments. This role focuses on system configuration, performance tuning, security, automation, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and optimal performance. You’ll lead technical initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and IT objectives.

Key Responsibilities

System Installation, Maintenance & Upgrades

• Install, upgrade, configure, and maintain z / OS and subsystems (JES2, RACF, CICS, DB2, IMS).
• Manage system updates, PTFs, APARs using SMP / E.
• Ensure system stability and compatibility across releases.
