Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for all key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Maintain deep understanding of client needs, business models, and pain points to offer customized solutions.
Conduct regular account reviews and client meetings to identify new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of client issues.
2. Revenue Growth & Business Development : Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets from existing and new accounts.
Identify and convert new business opportunities within the existing client base.
Build a pipeline of prospective clients through referrals, partnerships, and industry networks.
Actively pursue new partnerships and alliances to expand the client portfolio.
Develop proposals, pitches, and pricing strategies to close deals effectively.
3. Strategic Account Planning : Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue, retention, and growth targets.
Forecast account revenues and track sales performance using CRM tools.
Monitor market trends, competition, and client activity to identify emerging opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor offerings for key clients.
4. Relationship Expansion & Networking : Cultivate long-term relationships with decision-makers and influencers in client organizations.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking forums to strengthen brand presence.
Encourage client referrals and testimonials to generate new leads.
5. Reporting & Coordination : Maintain detailed client records and activity reports in CRM.
Provide management with regular updates on pipeline, closures, and account performance.
Work closely with internal teams (legal, operations, marketing) to ensure seamless client service delivery.
Key Skills & Attributes : Proven track record in Key Account Management , B2B sales , or business development .
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Excellent relationship management and problem-solving abilities.
Strategic thinking with ability to spot and convert opportunities.
High ownership, target-driven, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and data-driven reporting.
Qualifications : Graduate or Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
4–8 years of experience in Key Account Management / Business Development (preferably in legal, financial, or service sectors).
