Job Description :
Acquara Management Consultant Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a diligent and analytical Analyst – Transfer Pricing to support the transfer pricing team in data gathering, financial analysis, documentation support, and project coordination. The role involves conducting financial and economic analyses and supporting compliance requirements in line with OECD guidelines and respective jurisdictional TP regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Extraction & Organization :
- Collect, extract, validate, and organize financial, operational, and transactional data from client systems for use in transfer pricing analyses.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of datasets used by senior team members.
Financial Review & Analysis :
- Review trial balances, general ledgers, financial statements, and related schedules to identify intercompany transactions.
- Perform initial reconciliations, variance checks, and basic financial analyses to support TP reviews.
Support in FAR & Transaction Mapping :
- Assist senior team members in gathering information for functional, asset, and risk (FAR) analyses.
- Map intercompany transactions and prepare summary schedules for use in documentation.
Benchmarking Support :
- Provide assistance in running preliminary database searches or extracting financials of comparable companies as directed by seniors.
- Prepare clean, structured datasets to support benchmarking exercises.
Documentation & Reporting Assistance :
- Help compile information, background notes, and schedules required for preparing Local Files, Master Files, and internal TP deliverables (without performing end-to-end documentation preparation).
- Maintain organized working papers, supporting documents, and version-controlled files for audit and compliance use.
Compliance & Coordination :
- Assist in preparing TP-related disclosure forms and compliance schedules.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to gather required information.
Process & System Improvement :
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to data extraction processes, workflow efficiency, and documentation quality.
Required Skills & Competencies :
Analytical Ability :
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP / accounting systems (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
- Exposure to TP tools / databases is an added advantage.
Transfer Pricing Basics :
- Basic understanding of transfer pricing concepts such as related-party transactions, arm’s-length principle, and documentation requirements.
Communication :
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with internal teams and client personnel.
Organization & Time Management :
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deliverables, and work within deadlines.
