Job Description

SAP Technology Expert is responsible for the design of the SAP Technology (Basis) solution(s) within area of expertise, ensuring secure and compliant design to IT and Industry standards. They are perform coaching and supporting team & partners in the implementation and operational requirements of the solution.

What are the 5 most important job responsibilities for this specific position?
Provides deep (SAP Basis technology expert) guidance and support in their specific specialties (e.g., HANA, SAP Business suite (ERP, BW / BI, APO, PI), SAP SaaS Solutions (BTP, SSF) etc.)
Collaborate with internal partners to identify relevant standard solutions that would be available for efficient deployment.
Where required, innovate (architect, design, integrate, build, test a customer specific solution), this includes the technical application stack, infra stack or services
Ensure that the solution / design delivered by partners is validated and meet Nestle requirements and quality.
Provides product team with technical expertise, advising on best technology solutions, translating the business vision into technical vision.
Supports and influences the technical activity (design, build, testing) in complex environment.
Assists others in resolving complex technical problems and investigating the root cause of problems and recommends smart (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, timely) solutions.

What technical experience in this position will help IT meet its goals?
What technical experience is required?

8+ years of experience in SAP BASIS Technologies (e.g., HANA, SAP Business suite (ERP, BW / BI, APO, PI)). Hands on and design level expertise in BASIS technologies.

What technical experience is a nice to have?

Experience in working on Cloud technologies (specifically AZURE cloud).

SAP S / 4 suites.

What is your ideal candidate?

Solid know-how of SAP Technologies and Products (SAP certification highly beneficial)

A person with in-depth technical knowledge of SAP BASIS technologies and experience working in a large & complex landscape

Expert level BASIS, HANA, SUSE knowledge (preferably Pacemaker experience)

Good knowledge of Hyperscaler infrastructure, tools, and processes

S / 4 experience including Fiori, embedded gateway, and technical conversions

Have general understanding of Architecture and Design principles.

Has good communication / collaboration skills,

Mental agility ( dealing with complexity etc ) and Learning agility

Designing thinking and Agile mindset.
