Job Title : DevSecOps Engineer

Experience : 5-8 Years

Location : Bangalore / Gurgaon

Employment Type : Period : Up to 30 days

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in integrating security into DevOps practices, automating CI / CD pipelines, and ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable application deployment. This role requires both deep technical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with development, operations, and security teams.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure CI / CD pipelines for multiple applications.
  • Integrate security controls and automated compliance checks into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and security audits on applications and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to define security standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents related to cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Automate security workflows using scripts and configuration management tools.
  • Maintain and optimize cloud security policies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
  • Ensure continuous monitoring, logging, and alerting for security-related events.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, CircleCI, or Bamboo.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, or GCP, including security best practices.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) for automation.
  • Familiarity with security tools like SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, etc.).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Certified DevSecOps Professional, AWS Certified Security, or equivalent security certifications.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
  • Knowledge of networking and firewall configurations for cloud and on-premise environments.
