Senior CAD Technician - Highway Drainage

Role Summary

We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic Senior CAD Technician - Highway Drainage to join the UK iCRC Roads team in Noida / Bengaluru to work alongside our UK discipline.

The successful candidate will be working in a team environment to develop and deliver projects through various stages of design from feasibility to planning / detailed design and onto construction. You should be adaptable between Highways and Drainage as needed by the business requirements.

Responsibilities

• You will be working and supporting on a range of infrastructure schemes to independently develop engineering drawings in accordance with the relevant UK / MCHW series standards.
• You will be expected to play a proactive part in the design process and to be active on several projects at any given time.
• You will be using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, NavisWorks and other engineering software for the production and development of drawings.
• You will read and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures for Health and Safety including the HS Policy, HS Manual, and Local Procedures Manual.
• Prepare models maintaining GG184 and uniclass layer standards.
• Establish the link between multi-discipline drawings to understand the dependency and impact.
• Perform peer checks and reviews of drawings
• Bids and estimation support for CAD / BIM compliance output
• Sound experience in multidisciplinary co-ordination with Navis models or any equivalent software
