We are seeking a Lead AEM Frontend Developer with deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Commerce (Magento), Edge Delivery Services (EDS), and Universal Editor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the frontend development strategy and implementation of dynamic, modular, and high-performance eCommerce experiences.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including backend developers, UX designers, authors, and DevOps to deliver scalable and composable frontend solutions for enterprise-grade Adobe pKey Responsibilities

Lead and mentor frontend development teams across multiple AEM + Commerce projects.

Architect, develop, and review Drop-in Component implementations (e.g. Cart, PDP, Wishlist, Checkout, etc.) using Adobe Commerce Storefront SDK.

Build and scale modular, headless storefronts using Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and Universal Editor.

Define and implement frontend design systems using design tokens, component libraries, slot-based rendering, and localization support.

Collaborate with backend and integration teams to consume and utilize GraphQL / REST APIs from Adobe Commerce (Catalog, Live Search, Recommendations, etc.).

Ensure frontend alignment with dynamic business logic such as inventory, pricing, and personalization.

Guide performance optimization efforts : load times, Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design.

Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, CI / CD integration, and testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.).

Act as a subject matter expert for frontend strategies on AEM headless, Universal Editor, and Drop-in architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

7–10+ years of frontend development experience, with 4+ years in AEM-based solutions.

Proven leadership in implementing Adobe Commerce Drop-in Component architecture and customizations.

Strong experience working with Drop-in SDK, hydration strategies, rendering lifecycle, and dynamic event handling.

Hands-on expertise in Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and Universal Editor-based authoring workflows.

Deep knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, modular frameworks, and theming systems.

Extensive experience with API-first development, working with GraphQL / REST in Adobe Commerce ecosystems.

Strong understanding of headless CMS architecture, content-authoring practices, and frontend-backend contract design.

Experience leading teams, conducting code reviews, and guiding architectural decisions.

Familiarity with tools like Webpack, Babel, Git, and testing frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

Adobe certifications in AEM Frontend, Adobe Commerce, or Edge Delivery Services.

Experience working in Agile teams with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.

Knowledge of personalization engines, A / B testing frameworks, or analytics integration (Adobe Analytics, Target).

Exposure to enterprise-level CI / CD pipelines, automated deployments, and performance monitoring tools.
