Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in Chennai India. As a key member of our sales organization you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and market share
  • Lead coach and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team goals
  • Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews to track progress and address challenges
  • Collaborate with marketing product and customer service teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts
  • Create and present detailed sales reports forecasts and business reviews to senior management
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to optimize team performance and processes
  • Negotiate complex deals and contracts with high-value clients
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve sales strategies

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques lead generation and customer relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability to coach motivate and develop sales professionals
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Outstanding negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations and business reviews
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer needs
  • Knowledge of the local Chennai market and business landscape (preferred)
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strategic thinking and long-term planning capabilities
