Required Technical Skill Set

Office 365 -Exchange online, Exchange on-prem, Azure Active directory, Active directory, Email gateway

Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

Office 365 & Exchange on-prem, Azure AD basics, AD basics

Good-to-Have

Email gateway such as Proof point

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

Must have good knowledge in exchange online mailbox troubleshooting such as migration issues, recover / restore mailbox, etc

Must have good knowledge in hybrid / centralized mail flow concepts

Mail flow troubleshooting end-to- end

Manage Compliance and security related queries and requests

Handling Org level whitelist and blacklist requests

Must have good knowledge in concepts related to transport rules, retention policies & tags, e-discovery, mailbox auditing, content search

Must have good knowledge in MS DLP and policies

Must possess good knowledge about Office 365 subscription, services, and License assignments via Dynamic groups

Azure AD groups, dynamic group policies, Conditional access policies

SSO, MFA, ADFS, Password synchronization concepts and SSPR

Should hold Hands-on knowledge of troubleshooting and managing concerns related to AAD connect

Must have good knowledge about Exchange Hybrid setup and Domain related concepts

Should have excellent skill set for Outlook troubleshooting

Should have hands-on knowledge of Exchange server concepts

Good knowledge of Power shell scripting

Would be supportive if there is experience with 3rd party email gateways applications
