Better Software is a product development studio that partners with entrepreneurs and enterprises to build and launch new initiatives from the ground up. We don’t just develop software — we help turn raw ideas into scalable, successful products.
We are looking for exceptional Product Managers who can work closely with founders and operate with the mindset of a builder, owner, and leader. This role goes far beyond a traditional PM position. You will effectively become the mini-CEO of the product you lead. You are expected to operate with :
1. Extreme Ownership
At 0→1, there is no “my part” or “my feature.”
You own the entire product — vision, execution, timelines, quality, communication, everything.
You’ll work directly with design, engineering, marketing, and leadership to ensure the product ships effectively and efficiently.
2. Extreme Velocity
We operate like a startup.
The only luxury we don’t have is time.
You must be decisive, resourceful, and comfortable moving from idea → validation → execution at breakneck speed.
3. Documentation Obsessed (But Practical) Since many of our products evolve into larger platforms, you’re expected to :
Write, update, and maintain detailed PRDs
Create clear user flows (MIRO)
Keep JIRA boards clean, structured, and always up to date
Record Loom walkthroughs for clarity and handovers
Your documentation becomes the single source of truth for the team.
4. Final Gatekeeper for Releases
You are responsible for testing, validating, and approving every release before it goes live. If the product breaks, the first question will be : “Did the PM review this?” You must use the product as a real user to find issues before others do.
5. Leadership Beyond Product
Your job is not just managing a product — it’s managing people, expectations, energy, and culture. You set the tone for :
How the team communicates
How problems are solved
How deadlines are respected
How quality is maintained
This role requires emotional intelligence, clarity of communication, and the ability to inspire and rally teams.
Who This Role Is For
PMs who thrive in high-velocity, high-ambiguity environments
Builders who love the 0→1 phase
People who think in systems and scale, not just tasks
Leaders who can make decisions without hand-holding
Candidates who want to work directly with founders and shape products that matter
