About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative, research-driven, and strategically minded Creative Lead who can conceptualize and craft compelling ad scripts that move the needle on sales. This role requires deep understanding of D2C brand communication, consumer psychology, and performance-driven storytelling.
The ideal candidate is someone who can research trends, decode winning ads, build strong narratives, and lead a team of scriptwriters to deliver high-impact content consistently.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Creative Research & Strategy
- Research products thoroughly to understand their core value proposition, market demand, and consumer behavior.
- Study latest trends in advertising, competitor campaigns, and successful ad formats across platforms.
- Analyse top-performing global and Indian D2C ads (UGC, influencer, testimonial, performance creatives, TVCs) to build new scripts.
- Identify content gaps and opportunities to unlock high-ROI storytelling angles.
2. Script Writing & Concept Development
Write high-impact ad scripts for performance marketing, influencers, UGC creators, product videos, testimonials, and TVCs.Develop clear, emotionally compelling narratives that convert viewers into buyers.Collaborate with video, design, and performance teams to ensure messaging stays aligned with brand goals.3. Team Leadership & Quality Control
Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of scriptwriters and creative strategists.Review scripts created by the team and ensure they communicate the right message with clarity and impact.Train writers on brand communication, ad psychology, storytelling frameworks, and D2C-centric messaging.Set creative guidelines and ensure consistency of tone, voice, and messaging across all content.4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, growth, design, and production teams to convert ideas into high-performing creatives.Participate in brainstorming sessions, campaign planning, and creative pipeline development.Qualifications & Skills :
4–8 years of strong experience in advanced creative writing, ad content development, or brand storytelling.Proven experience in D2C brand advertising and performance-led content.Prior work on influencer scripts, UGC content, testimonial scripts, and TVC scriptwriting.Ability to research, reverse-engineer, and replicate high-performing ad structures.Strong leadership skills with experience managing and training creative teams.Exceptional command of English / Hindi for sharp, clear, and persuasive communication.Deep understanding of consumer psychology, digital ads, and storytelling frameworks.Skills Required
