Job description

What you will be doing :

  • Storage Product Engineering, Platform Administration and Support :
  • Create and configure Storage instances
  • Onboard New Storage products
  • Create and configure Storage on Azure / GCP platform.
  • Implement security measures and governance policies.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts using tools like PowerShell, azure cli, ARM templates.
  • Manage Storage pipelines for Storage deployments using platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Co-ordinate with application teams to ensure the infrastructure is with the latest maintenance level.
  • Perform upgrades and patching
  • Ingest monitoring metrics to Grafana dashboard
  • Install certs, upgrade certs via key vault

Main responsibilities

What we are searching for :

  • Azure and Google Cloud Storage Platform (Multi Cloud experience is a plus)
  • Expertise in deploying and managing Storage Platform / products
  • Storage Engineering of Azure and Google Cloud Storages
  • Setting up and managing SoftNAS Platform
  • Setting up and managing Commvault Platform for Backups / Recovery
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization : Ability to monitor Storage performance and resolve issues
  • Security Management : Implementing and managing security measures to protect data across various Storages
  • Backup and Recovery : Setting up and managing backup and recovery processes for all Storage types
  • Expertise in Storage High Availability and Disaster Recovery
  • Expertise in Storage Network Management
  • Ability to analyze and onboard new Storage products by setting up the standards and documentation
  • Documentation of Storage standards and playbooks
  • Expertise in Storage Access Management

    • Automation :

  • Experience in automating Storage deployments and management

    • Skills :

  • GitHub Actions, yml scripting, shell scripts, python, Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible, ServiceNOW integration with GitHub Workflow, Azure CLI, Google Cloud CLI.
  • UNIX shell scripting experience is a plus
  • Base knowledge of networking (TCP / IP)
  • Ability to analyze and onboard new Storage products by setting up the standards and documentation
  • Azure certifications is a plus (az-900, az-104, etc.)
