We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Ahmedabad region of the West zone. This role is crucial for providing on-site technical support to customers by performing repairs, installations, and maintenance of our equipment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, independent problem-solver who can manage multiple tasks and is committed to driving service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- On-site Service : Attend to breakdown calls , complete installations, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance at customer sites in the Mehsana, Patan, or Palanpur areas.
- Technical Support : Provide frontline support by using your technical expertise and troubleshooting skills to resolve customer issues. You will also provide training and demonstrations of products to customers.
- Sales & Revenue : Actively promote service contracts and consumables to meet sales targets. You will also be responsible for maintaining a strong contract retention rate and warranty conversion rate.
- Administrative Tasks : Raise requests for parts, close transactions in Oracle, and update service reports. You will also identify potential parts and equipment requirements to generate leads for the sales team.
- Problem-Solving : Apply critical thinking to resolve issues within defined procedures. The role requires the ability to analyze technical problems and coordinate with other departments to find solutions.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience : A Diploma or Engineering degree in any stream. A minimum of 4+ years of field service experience is required, with a preference for candidates from the batch coding industry .Language : You must be familiar with and fluent in the local language, Gujarati .Skills : The ability to work independently, prioritize workloads, and multitask effectively is essential. You should also possess strong analytical and communication skills.Skills Required
