Detailed JD :

  • As a Python Full-Stack developer - responsible for building, enhancing and maintaining the infrastructure for new applications or already built modeling platforms / s in a production environment.
  • Efforts include solving business issues technically via system development based on business needs, implementing and validating the changes, documentation and supporting the ongoing processing.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in various technologies along with business knowledge in the areas of investments in an insurance company, investment firm or bank.

Mandatory skills :

  • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack developer or in a similar role
  • 5+ years of experience with Python, SQL development including patterns and best practices in production environment
  • 3+ years of knowledge of handling big data or investments and accounting data (financial instruments such as bonds and derivatives)
  • 3+ years of knowledge / Experience with investment analytics tools or similar vender analytics platforms (market or credit risk), experience with Moody’s RiskFrontier and Moody’s Analytics tools is highly desired
  • Experience with DevOps concepts, CI / CD and experience in Jenkins / GitHub Actions
  • Experience and Certifications with AWS / AZURE cloud
  • Experience with scheduling tools e.g. Apache airflow, HCL workload Automation.

    • Desired skills :

  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies and back-end technologies
  • Proficient with relational databases like MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and database design
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases
  • Proficient with standard documentation tools (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work with various file formats and systems
  • Experience with reporting tools, scheduling tools and data post processing techniques is required
