Job Title : .NET Developer (2 to 5 Years Experience)

About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled and motivated .NET Developer with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining applications using legacy versions of the .NET framework.

This is a critical role requiring immediate onboarding to support ongoing enterprise-grade projects.

You will work onsite at our Perungalathur, Chennai office, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful and timely delivery of project components.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications built on older .NET framework versions (2.0 to 4.5).
Participate actively in all stages of the software development lifecycle : requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with architects and senior developers to design scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with business needs.
Debug and troubleshoot issues in legacy codebases, ensuring optimal application performance and responsiveness.
Follow coding standards, best practices, and ensure high code quality through peer reviews and unit testing.
Support deployment activities and provide immediate post-deployment stabilization and support.
Work independently with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience :

2 to 5 years of professional experience in .NET development.

Strong expertise with legacy versions of the .NET Framework (2.0 to 4.5).

Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, and either Windows Forms or Web Forms development.

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and software design principles.

Experience in working with SQL Server, including writing complex stored procedures, triggers, and optimizing database performance.

Familiarity with version control systems like TFS or SVN.

Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Nice to Have :

Experience with migration projects involving upgrading from older .NET frameworks to newer platforms.

Exposure to DevOps practices and deployment automation tools.
