Role Objective :

We are seeking a Lead Automation Engineer with deep technical expertise in UI and API test automation, AWS cloud services, and modern automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in automation, capable of mentoring a team, and passionate about delivering scalable, high-quality solutions in a distributed agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and guide a team of test engineers across automation initiatives.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and test suites for both UI and API layers.
• Apply strong programming concepts (OOPs) using Java, .NET, Python, or JavaScript.
• Perform API and Microservices testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Cypress, Karate, ReadyAPI, etc.
• Build and maintain modular automation frameworks leveraging Page Object Model (POM) and related design patterns.
• Write and maintain automated UI and API tests using Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, and similar libraries.
• Create and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins, CircleCI, Tekton, or equivalent tools.
• Work with source control systems like GitLab, GitHub, AWS CodeCommit.
• Generate test reports using tools such as Cucumber Reports, Extent Reports, etc.
• Work extensively with AWS services including Lambdas, S3, SQS, SNS, SES, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, Athena, and CodePipeline.
• Apply AWS best practices for scalability, reliability, and security in testing environments.
• Utilize SQL / NoSQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB) for test data validation and queries.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment (SCRUM, SAFe, XP) and contribute to sprint planning and automation strategy.
• Quickly adapt to new tools, technologies, and frameworks as per project needs.
