This is a full-time on-site role located in Srinagar for a Sales Manager for the Agency Channel. The Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of financial advisors. Day-to-day tasks include achieving sales targets, developing and implementing sales strategies, providing ongoing support to advisors, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role also involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, conducting market analysis, and reporting on sales activities and Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Experience in sales, especially in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in using sales management software and tools.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field MBA is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard qualified Financial Advisors with high sales potential.
  • Deliver structured training programs covering product knowledge, compliance, and advanced sales techniques.
  • Coach and mentor FAs to enhance productivity, customer engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor monthly and quarterly sales plans aligned with organizational targets.
  • Utilize CRM tools, sales analytics, and performance dashboards to track progress and optimize outcomes.
  • Drive business growth through cross-selling and upselling of insurance products.
  • Regularly review team KPIs such as lead conversion, persistency ratio, and premium collection.
  • Prepare and present sales performance reports and market intelligence to senior management.
  • Implement corrective action plans to address performance gaps.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high retention and referral business.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for seamless policy issuance, claims settlement, and customer service.
  • Ensure all sales practices comply with IRDAI regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and checks on documentation, disclosures, and sales processes.
