Senior Data Engineer (AWS cloud ecosystem) | Green Card holders or valid H1B | Jersey City, New Jer

We are seeking Senior Data Engineers with 8–12 years of experience to join our client's team in Jersey City. This is a hybrid role that requires both strong technical expertise in cloud-based data engineering and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on-site.

• OverviewThe Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale cloud-native data platforms. The role demands hands-on experience with AWS services, Spark, PySpark, Snowflake, and SQL, along with strong knowledge of ETL / ELT practices.Experience Required : 8–12 YearsLocation : Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect, design, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.Work with AWS services (Glue, Lambda, Athena, S3, etc.) to integrate and transform data.Implement data models in Snowflake and ensure high performance through optimized SQL .Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA, and product teams to translate requirements into engineering solutions.Manage code deployments, reviews, and best practices in a hybrid working model .Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance across platforms.Requirements8–12 years of proven experience in Data Engineering .Strong expertise in AWS cloud ecosystem , including Glue, Lambda, and Athena.Hands-on experience with PySpark, Spark, SQL, and Snowflake .Proficiency in building and optimising large-scale ETL / ELT pipelines .Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Nice to HaveFamiliarity with DevOps practices (CI / CD for data pipelines).Experience with real-time streaming data platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.).Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.Previous experience working in hybrid teams across geographies.# SeniorDataEngineer#AWScloudecosystem#GreenCardholders#validH1B#Jersey City,New Jersey#USA
