Job Summary :
The Project Lead will oversee the end-to-end subtitling process for movie content, ensuring linguistic accuracy, sync precision, and timely delivery. This role involves coordinating with editors / Production house and content teams for corrections, mentoring a team of 5–8 subtitle editors, and ensuring adherence to quality and style guidelines.
Work location : Mumbai
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and manage a team of 5–8 subtitle editors, translators, and QC specialists
- Coordinate with video editors / Production house and content teams to verify subtitle timing, dialogue accuracy, and context alignment
- Review and approve subtitle files to ensure quality standards, readability, and consistency across all formats
- Oversee content corrections, dialogue updates, and re-sync processes as required by the editing team
- Plan and allocate tasks to team members to ensure on-time delivery of all projects
- Collaborate with QC specialist and mastering teams for final output validation
- Maintain language style guides and ensure compliance with studio specifications and accessibility standards
- Prepare periodic reports on subtitling quality, productivity, and project status
- Coordinate with the Audio Description team to meet project deadlines
