JOB TITLE : AI & AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Location : Mumbai

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Al & Automation Engineer with expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and Al-driven automation solutions. You will design, develop and implement cutting-edge Al systems to solve complex challenges, enhance workflows and drive innovation. This role requires strong technical proficiency in Python, hands-on experience with LLM frameworks like Ollama and Hugging Face and a solid understanding of conversational agents and automation principles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. LLM Development & Optimisation

Design, build and deploy LLM-powered applications for automation, natural language processing and generative Al use cases.

Leverage frameworks like Ollama and Hugging Face to integrate LLMs into scalable solutions.

Optimise model performance, including latency, accuracy and resource efficiency.

2. Prompt Engineering

Craft effective prompts to maximise LLM output quality for diverse applications (e.g., chatbots, data extraction, content generation).

Experiment with advanced prompting techniques (e.g., chain-of-thought, few-shot learning).

3. Conversational Al & Agent Design

Architect and implement conversational agents (chatbots, virtual assistants) using LLMs.

Ensure seamless integration with backend systems and APIs.

4. Automation Pipeline Development

Build end-to-end automation workflows using Python and AI / ML tools.

Collaborate with teams to identify automation opportunities and deploy solutions.

5. Collaboration & Innovation

Work closely with data scientists, software engineers and product teams to align Al solutions with business goals.

Stay updated on emerging trends in LLMs, Al agents and automation tools.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum Qualifications

Proficiency in Python (mandatory) with strong problem-solving and algorithmic thinking.

Deep understanding of LLM architectures (e.g. Transformer models) and how they function.

Hands-on experience with Ollama and Hugging Face libraries / models (e.g., Transformers, Diffusers).

Expertise in prompt engineering and optimising LLM interactions.

Proven ability to build conversational agents (chatbots, dialogue systems). Familiarity with RESTful APIs and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).

2. Preferred Qualifications

Basic knowledge of fine-tuning LLMs (e.g., LORA, PEFT).

Exposure to LangGraph, Crew Al, or multi-agent frameworks.

Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.

Knowledge of automation tools like LangChain or AutoGPT.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Any educational qualification in Computer Science, Al, Data Science, or related field. A hands-on experience in Al / ML development, with a focus on LLMs or NLP.

Portfolio of projects demonstrating LLM applications, automation workflows, or conversational agents.

SOFT SKILLS

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Curiosity to experiment with new tools and adapt to evolving technologies.
