Senior SAP ABAP Developer – Global FMCGAbout the RoleWe are supporting a major global food manufacturing organisation in hiring a Senior SAP ABAP Developer (ABAPer) for a 6-month contract. This role sits within a large-scale PR / PO invoice transformation programme and requires a developer who is comfortable operating in a complex, multinational SAP environment.You will work closely with global process owners, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver high-quality ABAP development, ensuring smooth integration and performance across a sophisticated SAP landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions within the PR / PO invoice workstreamCollaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones (US, EU, APAC)Support functional colleagues with technical feasibility, solution design, and troubleshootingContribute to code reviews, documentation, and best-practice development standardsWork within a structured programme environment with clear sprint deliverablesEssential ExperienceSenior-level SAP ABAP (7+ years) with deep expertise in core development toolsStrong hands-on experience with Reports, Enhancements, Interfaces, User Exits, BAPIs, BADIs, and Forms (SmartForms / Adobe)Proven background working on global SAP programmes within large enterprisesExperience supporting PR / PO, invoicing, procurement, or finance-related SAP processesStrong communicator with the ability to work effectively across global teamsComfortable working autonomously and driving workstreams to completionContract DetailsLength : 6 months (with potential extension)Start : February 2026Location : Remote with cross-time zone collaboration
