We are looking for a strong Appian Developer with hands-on experience in Appian BPM development and production support, preferably in the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate should possess solid understanding of process instances, system design, and application troubleshooting, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet rigorous internal evaluation standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise-level applications using Appian BPM (L2 or L3 Certified preferred).
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of process models, process instances, records, reports, and interfaces in Appian.
  • Provide production support, including debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Appian solutions.
  • Ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and optimized application performance.
  • Participate in peer reviews, deployment activities, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality deliverables on time.

Required Skills :

  • 5+ years of experience in Appian BPM development (L2 certification mandatory; L3 preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Appian architecture, process instances, and process models.
  • Experience in production support and application maintenance in a live environment.
  • Good knowledge of Appian plug-ins, CDT design, records, reports, and expression rules.
  • Experience in integrating Appian with REST / SOAP APIs, databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.), and external systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in banking or financial services domain.
  • Familiarity with Appian Cloud and Appian Administration Console.
  • Knowledge of Java / JavaScript for custom plug-in development.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Education :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Appian L2 / L3 Certification preferred.
