Job Objective :
The primary objective of the Lead Generator is to convert incoming enquiries into confirmed sales , identify potential markets , and proactively generate new business opportunities through research, cold calling, and relationship building. This role plays a key part in driving the company’s growth by building a strong and consistent sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead Conversion : Follow up on inbound enquiries from various channels (website, ads, exhibitions, referrals, etc.) and convert them into qualified leads or confirmed sales.
- Market Research : Identify potential customers, industries, and regions for business expansion.
- Cold Calling & Outreach : Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to connect with new prospects and schedule meetings or demos.
- Database Management : Maintain and update CRM or lead database with accurate customer details and activity logs.
- Lead Qualification : Understand customer needs, budget, and decision-making process to qualify leads effectively.
- Coordination : Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.
- Follow-Up : Maintain regular communication with prospects to nurture leads until conversion.
- Reporting : Prepare daily / weekly reports on calls made, leads generated, conversions, and potential opportunities.
Key Skills & Competencies :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written).Strong persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.Confidence in making outbound calls and handling objections.Good research and analytical skills to identify new markets and customers.Basic understanding of CRM tools and lead tracking.Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive attitude.Time management and ability to work under pressure to meet targets.Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.1–3 years of experience in lead generation, inside sales, or telemarketing (preferably in [e.g., FMCG, consumer goods, home care, etc.]).Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to learn may also apply.Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
