As we expand our media solutions for the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, we are looking for a dynamic professional with deep industry insight and strong client relationships to spearhead new business development and strategic partnerships.
Position Overview :
The role focuses on acquiring, engaging, and managing new BFSI clients for advertising across Rajasthan Patrika’s media verticals — Print, Radio, OOH, and Digital.
The ideal candidate will bring strategic understanding of financial products and services, coupled with a solution-oriented mindset, to help clients communicate effectively through Patrika’s integrated media offerings. Strictly from non-media background.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and acquire new clients from the BFSI sector (banks, insurance firms, NBFCs, fintech, mutual funds, etc.) for advertising and brand partnerships.
- Develop a strong pipeline of prospective clients through research, networking, and industry mapping.
- Understand business objectives, brand positioning, and target audiences of BFSI clients to propose relevant media solutions across Print, Digital, Radio, and OOH platforms.
- Build and maintain CXO-level and senior marketing relationships within the BFSI ecosystem.
2. Strategic Account Planning
Create customized, integrated marketing solutions aligned with Patrika’s media strengths and client needs.Partner with internal sales, marketing, and creative teams to deliver data-backed, high-impact campaigns.Analyze market trends, competition, and advertising spends in the BFSI category to identify new opportunities.3. Revenue & Performance Management
Drive revenue growth and profitability through acquisition of new BFSI accounts.Own quarterly and annual sales targets for new business development.Ensure timely contract closures, billing, and collection coordination with finance and operations teams.4. Relationship Building & Representation
Represent Rajasthan Patrika at BFSI industry events, marketing forums, and brand summits.Position Patrika as a trusted, credible, and innovative advertising partner for BFSI clients.Act as a bridge between BFSI clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and campaign success.Candidate Profile : Education :
Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.MBA preferred (especially with specialization in Marketing, Finance, or Strategy).Experience :
8–12 years of professional experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance sector.Proven track record in client relationship management, corporate sales, or business development.Strictly non-media background — preference to candidates from BFSI institutions, fintech companies, or investment product firms.Key Skills and Attributes :
Deep understanding of BFSI products, marketing cycles, and customer behavior.Strong relationship-building, networking, and negotiation skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Strategic thinking with an ability to align client objectives with media solutions.Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive with a high degree of integrity.Ability to work cross-functionally with internal sales, marketing, and content teams.
