Here's how you will contribute to the success of the company
- Execute scenarios and manual test cases to identify bugs, problems and defects in our web application such as “Functional Tests, Regression Tests, (UI) Tests, Performance Tests, Security Tests, Accessibility Tests, Workflow Tests, Exploratory Tests”.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, development managers, and other stakeholders to understand client / business requirements and objectives.
- Create, update, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Document and report test results, including detailed descriptions of defects and steps to reproduce them.
- Perform regression testing to verify resolved defects and ensure they do not reoccur in future releases.
- Assist in the development and execution of automated test scripts.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on potential quality issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by suggesting and implementing best practices and new testing strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in web application testing and automation.
Here's what you need to have and master to get the job
Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer engineering or equivalent experience.3 to 5 years of experience in software QA testingExcellent English skills (speaking, writing, reading and understanding)Familiarity with any bug tracking and test management toolsExperience with performance testKnowledge of database technologies and SQLKnowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar (asset)Benefits of working at Sherweb
