Roles & Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the design and creation of standard and benchmark data models using Layered scalable Architecture principles / Medallion Architecture in the Data Architecture domain to deliver the Data Marts across all Businesses with the highest data quality.
- This includes complexities like Business Data, External Data, high volume, complex structure, performance and costs from systems such as PoS, ERPs, CRM, etc.
- Translate business requirements into normalized and analytical schemas (Star / Snowflake)
- Define and maintain entity relationships, hierarchy levels (Customer - Account - MSISDN), and attribute lineage
- Standardize attribute definitions across systems and simplify legacy structures
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement models in cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks)
- Collaborate with domain stewards to simplify and standardize legacy data structures
- Work with governance teams to tag attributes for privacy, compliance, and data quality
- Document metadata, lineage, and maintain version control of data models
- Support analytics, reporting, and machine learning teams by enabling standardized data access
- Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based Requirements :
- Data Modelling tools, preferably ERWin, tools such as ER Studio, RedShift and MS SQL on the AWS platform with DevOps is mandatory.
- Strong SQL and Enterprise Experience in Data Warehousing are a must.
- Candidate should have strong communication skills and should be able to work independently by interacting with various teams (Business Analysts, ETL, Tableau, etc.
- Desirable experiences are tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- ETL tools such as AWS glue, Python programming, Databricks, Predictive Analytics, etc.
- An understanding of business requirements and translating them to visual output is required.
