Google Looker Data Engineer

Remote, Based in India.

We’re seeking a skilled Data Engineer to support a major reporting migration from Tableau to Google Looker. This role focuses on designing and building scalable data models, data marts, and ETL / ELT pipelines to enable efficient reporting in Looker. You’ll collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to ensure data integrity and optimize performance for thousands of reports.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement scalable data models (conceptual, logical, and physical)
• Build and maintain ETL / ELT pipelines for data warehouse integration
• Develop and optimize BigQuery (or equivalent) structures for reporting
• Collaborate with analysts to ensure data marts support Looker dashboards
• Create and maintain LookML models and define the semantic layer in Looker
• Tune SQL queries for performance and scalability
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across migrated reports

What We’re Looking For

$5.00 - $15.00 Per Hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
