About the Role :

We’re looking for an experienced Shopify Developer (Freelancer) to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate should be skilled in developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify stores, with a keen eye for design, functionality, and performance optimization.

You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to bring e-commerce projects to life — from theme setup and app integration to troubleshooting and conversion optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and customize Shopify themes to align with brand and design requirements.

Build responsive, high-performance Shopify stores from scratch or by enhancing existing setups.

Integrate third-party Shopify Apps, APIs, and custom functionalities.

Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and user experience.

Implement advanced Shopify Liquid coding, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.

Handle ongoing maintenance, testing, and bug fixes.

Collaborate with designers and marketers to align store design with campaign goals.

Manage store configuration — payment gateways, shipping setup, taxes, and inventory.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

2–4 years of hands-on experience in Shopify Development (freelance or agency preferred).

Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Experience in Shopify Plus, custom app development, and Shopify API integration is a plus.

Familiarity with Shopify SEO best practices and analytics tools.

Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality output within deadlines.

Strong communication and time management skills.

Nice-to-Have :

Experience with Figma / Adobe XD to Shopify conversions.

Understanding of e-commerce UI / UX principles.

Prior experience collaborating with marketing teams or digital agencies.
