As part of our expansion, we’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our client acquisition and growth efforts. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering and strategy , identifying and developing opportunities with pharmaceutical manufacturers, CDMOs, and chemical producers worldwide.
Role Summary
You’ll be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities for Bridge Health’s process equipment and turnkey manufacturing systems. Working closely with our technical and engineering teams, you’ll translate client goals into projects that accelerate their production capacity.
This role requires strong knowledge of pharma manufacturing processes , B2B technical sales , and the ability to speak confidently with decision-makers in Engineering, Operations, and Procurement .
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and secure new clients seeking process scale-up or turnkey API / KSM facilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite and technical stakeholders.
- Lead client meetings, technical discussions, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop proposals, feasibility studies, and quotations.
- Attend industry conferences (e.g., CPhI, DCAT, INTERPHEX) and represent Bridge Health professionally.
- Track and analyze market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
- Develop regional and sector-specific business development strategies.
- Manage the full sales cycle — from initial outreach through contract signing.
Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or account management within the pharma, biotech, or chemical process industries .Proven success selling turnkey systems , process equipment , or contract manufacturing services (CDMO / CMO) .Understanding of GMP manufacturing , API production , and process scale-up workflows.Strong technical communication and presentation skills.Ability to work cross-functionally with engineers and clients to build solutions.Bachelor’s or higher in Chemical Engineering , Pharmaceutical Sciences , Business , or related field.Willingness to travel internationally (20–40%).Preferred Experience
Existing client network within the pharma or fine chemicals industry.Experience with quotation development , project scoping , or equipment costing .Previous participation in trade shows and B2B technical sales campaigns.Why Join Us
