Role Overview
The Senior – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for leading the Finance & Accounts
function, ensuring robust financial governance, statutory compliance, strategic financial
planning, and effective cost management. The role demands a strong business acumen,
leadership skills, and the ability to partner with senior management for financial performance
and supporting growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.
Partner with senior leadership to drive profitability and cost optimization.
Accounting & Compliance
Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure statutory compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, FEMA, and
other regulations.
Handle audits (statutory, tax, internal) and liaise with auditors, consultants, and
regulatory authorities.
Treasury & Fund Management
Manage working capital, liquidity planning, and cash flow optimization.
Handle banking relationships, credit facilities, and fund-raising activities.
Monitor forex exposure and manage risks.
MIS & Reporting
Develop robust MIS systems and dashboards for management reporting.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reports to management and the board.
Support investor presentations, board meetings, and strategy reviews.
Team Leadership & Governance
Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
Strengthen internal financial controls, policies, and SOPs.
Ensure ethical financial practices and strong corporate governance.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS).
Expertise in taxation (Direct & Indirect) and corporate laws.
Proven track record in financial planning, cost control, and profitability improvement.
Strategic mindset with hands-on problem-solving ability.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Background
Qualified CA with 5– 10 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts.
Exposure to corporate finance, fund-raising, and investor relations will be an advantage.
Prior experience in real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, or large diversified groups
preferred.
