Who are we looking for?

Floqer is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer who will be focused on scaling our Platform to meet our growing user base and use cases. You’ll be working closely with the CTO and Founding Team to scale our databases and computational resources and revolutionizing the way GTM teams access data. Someone in this role has expertise solving and tackling issues with large scale systems and performance enhancement. You're not scared of the start-up hustle.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement scalable solutions for rapidly growing datasets, ensuring reliability and performance under increasing user demand.

Design and optimize database schemas, indexing strategies, and query performance across distributed data stores.

Conduct deep technical investigations and root-cause analysis for system performance bottlenecks and failures.

Drive high engineering standards through mentorship, code reviews, and technical guidance across the team.

Collaborate cross-functionally to plan and prioritize infrastructure improvements aligned with company goals.

Evaluate and introduce new technologies, patterns, and tools that improve platform capabilities and developer productivity.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on Software Engineering experience. (bonus for experience in startups or high-growth product teams).

Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking resources.

Proven experience working on SaaS products that handle large-scale data ingestion, storage, and real-time read / write operations.

Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a passion for solving problems and “Getting it Done”.
