Job descriptionAdvanced SQL development : complex queries, views, performance tuning. Strong experience with DBT development, testing, and orchestration. Hands-on with data validation tools : dbt tests, Great Expectations, etc. Deep knowledge of Postgres internals, replication, tuning, and performance optimization. Experience with JSON-B, extensions, and Postgres version upgrades with minimal downtime. Ability to configure and maintain self-hosted Postgres environments for high availability. Skilled with workflow orchestrators : Airflow, Dagster, Metaflow, etc. Familiar with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins. Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PostgreSQL Developer with strong DBT expertise to design, develop, and optimize high-performance data pipelines and Postgres-based data solutions. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about data engineering, real-time processing, and building scalable systems that serve enterprise-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize SQL- and DBT-based data pipelines.
- Implement and maintain PostgreSQL solutions ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Build near real-time replication pipelines and support continuous data integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and data requirements into robust solutions.
- Automate workflows using Airflow, Rundeck, Mage, or Dagster.
- Monitor, test, validate, and optimize data quality, pipeline health, and system performance.
