Role Overview

Depending on your experience, interests and business needs, you will own the back-end or full stack design and development of product features, building scale, efficiency, and differentiated customer experiences. We're looking for software engineers passionate about building software solutions end-to-end, have strong software development experience delivering at scale solutions, and systems design skills.

You should have a demonstrated ability delivering within a DevOps delivery model from scoping requirements, requirement analysis, design, development, test, CI / CD, security implementation, and operational excellence with the ability to work cross-functionally with Product Managers, business stakeholders and other tech teams through the actual launch of the project. You should also have experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.

Embark : A personalized onboarding experience that uses employee job data (role, org, level, and region) to generate a standard onboarding plan that can be further tailored by the hiring manager.

Internal Transfer Workflow (ITW) : The process of transferring internally at Amazon.

The goal of the Amazon Compensation Team (ACT) is to help Amazon attract, motivate, and keep talented employees. They do this by providing the tools and services to calculate and manage all pay changes for all Amazon employees globally. ACT makes sure compensation is handled properly during every step of an employee's time working at Amazon.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
