Job Title : Business Analyst – Cards Issuing

Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in Cards Issuing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across core cards processing functions and must demonstrate strong analytical and SQL skills. This role excludes candidates with experience primarily in acquiring, merchant services, or operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements within the Cards Issuing domain.
Lead and support initiatives across sub-domains such as :
Core Cards Processing
Authorization
Disputes
Account Boarding
Servicing
Collections
Participate in Cards Migration / Conversion projects including :
Data Mapping
Business Workshops
Mock Runs
Disaster Recovery (DR) Planning
Translate business needs into functional specifications and work closely with development and testing teams.
Utilize SQL for data analysis, validation, and reporting.
Work with product platforms such as VisionPlus, TSYS, HPS, CoreCard, Prime, etc.
Required Skills & Experience :
Domain Expertise :
Must have recent and substantial experience in Cards Issuing.
Exclude candidates with experience in Cards Acquiring, Merchant Services, Payment Gateways, PSPs, ATM / POS, or purely operational roles.
Migration / Conversion Experience :
Must have participated in end-to-end migration activities beyond testing (e.g., data mapping, workshops, DR).
SQL Proficiency :
Strong SQL skills required for profiles with
Moderate SQL proficiency acceptable for profiles with 10–12 years of experience.
Platform Experience :
Hands-on experience with one or more Cards Issuing platforms (e.g., VisionPlus, TSYS, HPS, CoreCard, Prime).

Pure BAs with Cards Issuing + SQL
Developers from Cards Issuing platforms who transitioned into BA roles
