About the Role

  • We’re looking for a Node.js Developer who is passionate about building fast, scalable web applications and is open to exploring PHP-based systems. The role offers an opportunity to work on modern Node.js projects while gaining exposure to PHP for specific integrations and legacy support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable back-end applications using Node.js and related frameworks.
  • Collaborate with front-end and design teams for smooth API integration.
  • Build and manage RESTful APIs with attention to performance and security.
  • Work closely with senior developers to understand PHP workflows and assist in small-scale PHP integrations.
  • Participate in discussions around architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Write clean, well-documented code and contribute to team best practices.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Node.js and JavaScript / TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture.
  • Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Basic understanding of PHP or willingness to learn it as part of cross-stack collaboration.
  • Experience using Git and working in collaborative environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

    • Good to Have

  • Exposure to Express.js, NestJS, or microservices.
  • Awareness of PHP frameworks (Laravel / CodeIgniter) — not mandatory.
  • Experience with Docker, AWS, or other cloud environments.
