Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

SDET

with over

5 years of experience

in automation testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

Java ,

Selenium , and

Rest Assured , and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for both UI and API testing.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation frameworks using

Java ,

Selenium , and

Rest Assured .

Design and execute automated test scripts for web and API testing.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure high test coverage.

Integrate automated tests into

CI / CD pipelines

for continuous testing.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.

Maintain version control and documentation for test scripts and frameworks.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years

of experience in automation testing.

Strong proficiency in

Java

programming.

Hands-on experience with

Selenium WebDriver

for UI automation.

Solid experience with

Rest Assured

for API automation.

Experience in building and maintaining

custom automation frameworks .

Familiarity with

TestNG

or

JUnit

for test management.

Experience with

CI / CD tools

such as

Jenkins ,

GitHub Actions , or similar.

Proficient in

Git

for version control and

GitHub / Bitbucket

for remote repositories.

Good understanding of

software testing principles ,

SDLC , and

Agile methodologies .

Experience with

reporting tools

like

Extent Reports ,

Allure , or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with

BDD frameworks

like

Cucumber .

Exposure to

cloud-based testing platforms

(e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

Knowledge of

Docker ,

Kubernetes , or other containerization tools is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
