Chalo is a leading transport technology company on a mission to improve daily commuting for millions of passengers. With a fast-growing business across multiple lines, we are strengthening our finance leadership team to ensure robust MIS, reporting, and finance operations

Role Mission :

Lead and manage Chalo's Group MIS, Reporting, Finance Operations, and Audit functions, with ownership of P2P (Payables), Receivables, and team leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver accurate MIS and analysis by the 7th of every month.

Own and streamline the Financial Statement Closure Process (FSCP).

Manage and optimize Accounts Payable (P2P cycle) : Purchase Orders, Vendor Invoicing, and

Payments.

Manage and strengthen Accounts Receivable : Collections, Cash Application, Credit Control, and Dispute Resolution.

Lead and ensure timely completion of Statutory, Tax, and Internal Audits.

Identify and resolve bottlenecks in finance operations to improve efficiency.

Provide insights from MIS to support strategic decision-making.

Lead, mentor, and manage a small finance team to deliver high-quality outputs with accuracy and timeliness.

Collaborate with auditors, consultants, and business

CA with 5-6 years of post-qualification experience.

Strong exposure to Finance Operations (Payable and Receivables), MIS, and Reporting.

Proven track record in improving book closure timelines and reporting accuracy.

Hands-on team management and leadership experience.

Excellent Excel skills (Zoho knowledge is an added advantage).

Analytical mindset with the ability to design financial models.

Prior experience in startups or multi-business line organizations preferred.

Immediate joiners highly preferred.
