Senior SAP Architect
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Integration Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure integrations between SAP S / 4HANA and a range of enterprise systems. In this role, you will drive integration strategies across OData, IDoc, BAPI, and SAP CPI / PI / PO, while ensuring that solutions are resilient, observable, and aligned with modern cloud-native practices such as event-driven messaging, OAuth-secured APIs, and fault-tolerant architecture.
This is a high-impact technical leadership role requiring hands-on delivery experience, solution ownership, and active collaboration with Java developers, DevOps, and SRE teams in a regulated, high-volume environment.
Mode : Hybrid (3 days / week in Period : Immediate to 21 days
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead integration design for high-volume SAP modules (orders, invoices, inventory) using OData, BAPI, IDoc, and SAP CPI / PI / PO.
- Develop and optimize CPI message flows with transformations, mappings, routing, and external system connectivity.
- Ensure integration resilience using strategies like retries, async messaging, dead-letter queues, and rollback handling.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, Java backend teams, and DevOps to align SAP integration logic with modern application ecosystems.
- Handle secure API exposure using OAuth2, SAML, and integrate with SAP BTP API Management for access governance.
- Integrate SAP-side messaging with event-streaming platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Support observability by aligning SAP logs and traces with tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, or Prometheus, and work with SRE teams to ensure system health and traceability.
- Contribute to system hardening discussions through HA / DR design awareness, integration testing, and failure recovery planning.
- Document integration patterns, troubleshoot issues, and participate in architecture and CAB reviews in a structured enterprise ITIL-based environment.
